This data protection notice applies to PRH Poly Resource Hamburg GmbH. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and adhere strictly to the provisions of the data protection laws. In the absence of explicit consent, personal data is only collated to the extent technically necessary or for the maintenance and improvement of our website and is never sold or passed to third parties outside our group of companies or service providers for any other reasons.
The following notice gives you an overview of how we guarantee this protection and what data is collected, processed, utilised and potentially passed on.
2. Data processing on this website
Your visit to our website is logged. Mainly the following data, which your browser transmits to us, is collated in the first instance:
-the IP address your PC is currently using
-date and time
-browser type and version
-your PC’s operating system
-the pages you viewed
-name and size of the file(s) requested
and where relevant the URL of the referring web page.
As a rule it is neither possible nor intentional for a specific person to be identified from the data.
This data is only used for purposes of data security, for optimising our online presence and remedying faults. The data is not otherwise analysed, except for statistical purposes, in which case it is always anonymised. No personal surfing profiles or similar are created or processed. See below for information on the evaluation of this data via Google Analytics!
3. Contact details
Further, personal data is only stored if you volunteer it to us in a contact form for the purpose of contacting us. The respective input and contact forms notify you of the purposes for which the data collated there is gathered. Such data shall be partly transferred over the Internet in an encrypted form (using an https connection, see below).
In this event, the information given by you for the purpose of processing your contact request is stored. We transfer personal data to our companies belonging to PRH Poly Resource Hamburg GmbH only if doing so is expedient for processing your requests. Personal data are not passed on to third parties. You are of course entitled to object to this use of your data at any time.
The information collected on this website may be forwarded to appropriate service providers or affiliated companies for evaluation. We warrant that we will not otherwise pass your personal data to third parties unless we are obliged to do so by law or you have given us your prior approval.
If we deploy service providers for the performance and handling of processing procedures, such contractual relationships shall be governed subject to the provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG). In particular we warrant that in this case the third parties shall be subject to the duty to maintain confidentiality of data and further that all ten points under section 11 BDSG (“Commissioned collection, processing or use of personal data”) are governed by the contract.
As a rule log files are only evaluated by the administrator for the purposes of detecting and analysing errors and are deleted after six months at the latest.
4. Right to information
If you have entrusted personal data to us and no longer consent to its being stored, or the data has become inaccurate, we shall effect the deletion or blocking of your data when instructed to do so or shall make the requisite corrections (to the extent that this is possible under applicable law). On request you shall be freely notified of all personal data that we have stored about you; simply send a notification in any form to us or our data protection officer Mr. Sascha Kremer (see below).
5. Storage of communicated data
Personal data communicated to us via our website shall only be stored until the purpose for which it was entrusted to us is completed, whereupon it shall be deleted or at least blocked such that any further use is not possible. Where storage periods need to be complied with under commercial and tax law, the storage duration for certain data may be up to eleven years.
6. Applicable law
We operate our business such that our duties in all countries in which we are represented are complied with. Our activities in Germany are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany
7. Notes on external links (“Disclaimer”)
Where this website contains links to other websites, note that we have no influence over the layout and content of the linked pages. For that reason we accept no liability for such third-party content. In all cases the respective provider or operator is responsible for this content. At the point of linking, the linked pages were checked for unlawful content but no legal infringements were identified. Where legal infringements are detected, such links are immediately removed; however, it is unreasonable for us to permanently monitor the linked pages without specific indications of a breach of the law, and we are always grateful for any tips of this kind. 8. Notes on Google Analytics

The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is usually transferred to one of Google’s servers in den USA and stored there. 10. Note on the use of cookies
As already mentioned above, (see “Google Analytics”), the Internet pages use what are known as “cookies” at several points. An example of when a cookie is stored is to indicate whether you have permanently activated our website’s “energy-saving mode”. Further, cookies are used by our analysis tools, which we use to constantly improve our web presence and to make surfing as simple and convenient as possible for you.
